We are located in the charming coastal town of Sayville, New York (35 miles east of NYC) in a historic downtown shopping district - lined with trees, unique gift shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Seafarer owner Barbara Whitbread was raised around the family fishing boats and docks, going out on the family fishing boats before she even learned to walk... Not surprisingly, nautical themes prevail in Barbara's work as a professional artist. With her gift of creativity and retail background, she opened the Seafarer Gift Shop in 2005.

Most items are packed and ship out within 10-14 business days after you order. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR INVENTORY FLUCTUATES AND NOT EVERY ITEM ONLINE MAY BE IN STOCK FOR PICKUP IN PERSON OR FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT. Not every item available online is in stock in the store. If you do need something sooner or need an express shipment, contact us - we try to accommodate you when we are able. Items that take a little longer are maked as such in their descriptions.
IN STORE PICKUP:
For our friends fortunate enough to be in the Long Island region, we offer the option of avoiding shipping charges altogether by picking up your order at the store. Please inquire as to item availability, as some products are warehoused by our vendor partners and may not be immediately available in the storefront.

Did your shipment sustain damages during shipping? Email or call us right away.
Changed your mind? Returns are accepted with prior approval from the Seafarer Gift Shop. If any item is not satisfactory, we will replace it, exchange it, or refund your original method of payment if you were the purchaser. Gift recipients may exchange for store credit only. Shipping charges will be refunded on defective merchandise only. Please call Customer Service at 631-256-8458 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org for a Return Authorization. Items of course must be clean and unused and include any original and inner product packaging and paperwork where applicable (like instruction sheets).
MEASUREMENTS: Measurements and capacities stated are approximate.
CLAIMS: All products must be inspected upon receipt. Any claims relating to product, including damage, order error or changes must be filed with the Seafarer Gift Shop within five (5) days of receipt of product.
