This is a refurbished model that has entirely brand new opticals inside, just the outer housing is refurbished. We LOVE the marine antique look of the brass head (only available in refurbished styles, all brand new models are maintenance free aluminum - they look sleek and contemporary!) Vandal resistant focus knob, can be placed inside at a window, or mount outdoors, on a deck (weighs less than 200 pounds and can be easily moved.) Has a standing ring (not shown, around base).
