Sayville is a coastal community, located on Long Island's south shore (Suffolk County). Sayville is the gateway to the family-friendly beach cottage communities on Fire Island. Sayville ferries transport visitors over the Great South Bay to the car-free island and the Atlantic Ocean.

DIRECTIONS FROM SUNRISE HIGHWAY: Take exit 49 South, turn South onto Lakeland Avenue and follow until you come to the downtown area.

DIRECTIONS FROM MONTAUK HIGHWAY: Montauk Highway is Main Street in Sayville.

We are just about a 3/4 mile walk south from the Sayville LIRR/Long Island Railroad station, A 3/4 mile walk north from the Great South Bay, a 7 minute drive south from Islip/MacArthur Airport (an easy straight shot), and we are about 35 miles east of New York City and west of Montauk.

Sayville, home to nearly 17,000 people lies on the south shore of Long Island in an area about 5.5 square miles, bordered by the Great South Bay. (See the red star with an "A" on the map.)

Sayville has a charming tree lined downtown with many historic buildings now housing unique independent retail shops, restaurants, and businesses, including the fabulous Seafarer Gift Shop!
